Białystok University of Technology invites research employees and PhD students from Across Alliance partner universities to participate in research and professional internships as part of the NAWA-funded project supporting European Universities. This is a unique opportunity to develop scientific competences, strengthen international cooperation, and work alongside experienced researchers in one of Poland’s leading technical universities.
Who Can Apply to the internship?
The internship programme is open to:
- Academic teachers/Research employees of Across partner universities
- PhD students from ACROSS partner universities
The internship dates will be individually agreed upon between the scholarship holder and the internship supervisor at Białystok University of Technology. All internships must be completed no later than 31 July 2026.
Where will the Internships take place?
All internships are hosted on site at Białystok University of Technology.
Participants may undertake internships in one of BUT’s six faculties:
- Faculty of Architecture
- Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences
- Faculty of Electrical Engineering
- Faculty of Computer Science
- Faculty of Engineering Management
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
Each faculty offers a vibrant research environment, modern laboratories, and opportunities for collaboration with academic experts.
Financial Support for Participants
Participants selected for the program will receive comprehensive financial support, including:
1. Scholarship for Travel Costs (round trip)
- 1500 PLN – for interns from Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Slovenia
- 2000 PLN – for interns from France, Bulgaria, Italy
- 3000 PLN – for interns from Spain
2. Living and Accommodation Allowance
- 300 PLN per day spent in Poland
