On the 9th of October 2025 the Across Alliance โ European University proudly announced at the University of Craiova, the official launch of the Across Think Tank โ a public policy and research institute dedicated to fostering cross-border collaboration and promoting the exchange of ideas between universities and communities across Europe.

The Across Think Tank aims to identify and study transnational socio-economic challenges in key areas such as education and societal development, cultural heritage preservation, and the sustainable management of natural resources.
ย The launch event, hosted by the University of Craiova, gathered representatives from all Across Alliance partner universities, including: University of Craiova, University of Banja Luka, Bialystok University of Technology, Chemnitz University of Technology, University of Girona, University of Nova Gorica, University of Perpignan Via Domitia, University of Ruse โAngel Kanchevโ, University of Udine, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
During the event, representatives from each partner university emphasized the importance of academic cooperation, research-based dialogue, and knowledge sharing as key drivers for sustainable regional and European development.
This initiative marks an important step in advancing the Across Allianceโs mission โ to build a truly integrated European academic space where collaboration, innovation, and community engagement come together to strengthen cross-border understanding and create shared opportunities for growth.
