The University of Udine will host the Summer School “Mitochondria in Health and Disease”.
The Summer School organized by DMED is now in its fourth year, establishing itself as an annual event dedicated to exploring important scientific topics.
This year’s edition will focus on the pathophysiological aspects of mitochondrial bioenergetics, with particular attention to the role of mitochondria in health and disease.
The initiative is primarily aimed at doctoral students in the three cycles of the doctoral programs in Molecular Medicine and in Clinical and Translational Medical Sciences, but is also open to interested students in Medicine and Biotechnology.
The aim of the Summer School is to provide an extensive and updated overview of the proposed topics, thanks to the contributions of international speakers who are experts in the field.
The educational activities will be aimed not only at transmitting theoretical knowledge but also at actively engaging students, with a particular focus on the methodological and practical aspects of research.
