The event brings together professionals from 35 universities across 15 countries and includes the participation of two Across member institutions.
The University of Girona (UdG) is hosting the second edition of its International Staff Week, an Erasmus+ initiative that brings together 46 professional, technical, administrative and support staff members from 35 universities in 15 countries. Among the key themes of the programme is the participation of the Across Alliance, which contributes to strengthening the event’s European dimension.
The alliance plays a prominent role through the involvement of its Coordinator, Agata Mannino, who is organising and contributing to the workshop European Values and Alliances, scheduled for 4 June. The session will explore the role of European university alliances in promoting shared values, fostering institutional cooperation and building a more integrated European Higher Education Area.
International Staff Week provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices among higher education professionals from across Europe. In this context, European university alliances have become key instruments for developing new forms of collaboration, encouraging mobility and supporting joint initiatives between institutions.
Across’ presence is further reinforced by the participation of two member universities: the Technische Universität Chemnitz and Université de Perpignan, UPVD. Their involvement helps strengthen ties within the alliance and creates new opportunities for cooperation among its partners.
The programme includes sessions on university internationalisation, cross-border projects and cooperation with Erasmus+ KA171 partner regions, as well as cultural and networking activities. These initiatives contribute to building a strong international collaboration network aligned with Across’ mission of creating a more connected, inclusive and globally engaged European university.
Across’ participation in this initiative highlights the alliance’s commitment to internationalisation, knowledge exchange and the promotion of European values, while further consolidating its presence in international higher education cooperation initiatives.
