he 13th REDETE Conference – Researching Economic Development and Entrepreneurship will take place on 9–10 September 2026 in Ancona, Italy, at the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
This year’s conference will focus on “Geopolitical Shifts, Supply Chains, and Regional Resilience in the Adriatic–Ionian Region”, bringing together researchers, academics and regional stakeholders to explore current economic and societal challenges affecting the Adriatic–Ionian area and the Western Balkans.
Topics will include geopolitical risk, supply-chain restructuring, EU enlargement, innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, energy security and sustainable development.
The event is organised by the University of Banja Luka and the Università Politecnica delle Marche, in collaboration with Across partners University of Udine and University of Nova Gorica.
The programme will also include activities such as a summer school for doctoral students and researchers, research paper presentations, exchanges with the Adriatic Ionian Initiative, and discussions on the development of joint study programmes.

10 September, 09:00–10:30 - Plenary Session 3 – Collaboration Opportunities and Future Agenda

The third plenary session will notably feature Patricija Muzlovic from the University of Udine and Across, alongside representatives from the European Commission, Università Politecnica delle Marche, the University of Ioannina and the European Parliament.
