๐Ÿ“ Location: University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia
๐ŸŽฏ Audience: Master’s and PhD students with a background in biochemistry, structural biology, molecular biology, or related fields.

The University of Nova Gorica (UNG) is organising the Nanobody Discovery Summer School: Current & Future Methods, a three-day programme designed for students interested in the latest experimental and computational approaches to nanobody discovery.

The summer school combines wet-lab techniques with cutting-edge computational and AI-based methods, providing participants with a comprehensive overview of current workflows used in nanobody research.

What will participants learn?

During the programme, participants will explore:

  • Construction, characterisation and screening of nanobody libraries;
  • Wet-lab nanobody phage display screening of target antigens;
  • Computational and AI workflows to store, model, rank, design and simulate nanobody candidates.

This summer school is ideal for students who are looking to integrate nanobody discovery into their research through experimental methods, computational approaches, or a combination of both.

Only 10 participants will be selected based on the quality of their abstract and motivation letter, ensuring a highly interactive learning environment.
