The University of Banja Luka is delighted to invite you to join us for the upcoming University of Banja Luka Erasmus+ Staff Training Week – BLENDin: Banja Luka Erasmus Networking Days, taking place in Banja Luka from 20 to 24 April 2026.
Program Highlights:
- Tailored Content: Session topics are finalized based on participant interests indicated in the application form.
- Networking: International Fair and “Best Practice” forums.
- Job Shadowing: Dedicated time for departmental exchanges and teaching sessions.
- Adventure: A guided rafting experience on the Vrbas River and city tours.
Key Details:
- Target Audience: Administrative and academic staff from Erasmus+ partner institutions.
- Working Language: English (B1 level recommended).
- Participation Fee: Free of charge (includes welcome dinner, coffee breaks, and city tour).
- Funding: Participants are encouraged to use Erasmus+ KA171 or KA131 grants from their home institutions to cover travel and subsistence.
- International Fair: Participants are invited to bring promotional materials (brochures, banners, or local snacks) to showcase their home university.
Upon registration, we will provide a “Practical Information Guide” featuring suggested travel options and local hotel recommendations.

- 11:00 – 12:00: Participant Introductions (no formal presentations) & Icebreaker

- 14:00 – 17:00: Free Time
- 17:00 – 19:00: Banja Luka City Tour**

Day 2: Thematic Deep Dive & Best Practices (Rectorate / Faculty of Philosophy)
- 09:00 – 10:00: Keynote Session 1 on the Week’s Theme
- An expert presentation on the main topic
- 10:00 – 11:00: Keynote Session 2 on the Week’s Theme
- An expert presentation on the main topic
- 11:00 – 11:30: Coffee Break *
- 11:30 – 13:00: Workshop Session I
- Interactive session related to the theme
- 13:00 – 15:00: Lunch Break (self-funded)
- 15:00 – 16:00: Participant Best Practice Forum

- 12:00 – 15:00: Rafting on Vrbas**
- 15:00 – 16:30: Lunch (included with rafting)
- 16:30 onwards: Free Time

- Participants split into smaller groups to hold teaching sessions (academic staff) and visit relevant faculties, administrative departments, or offices based on their professional profiles (e.g., International Office, Library, Student Services).
- 14:00 onwards: Suggested Cultural Activities (optional)
Day 5: Wrap-Up & Departure
- 10:00 – 11:00: Final Session: Summary & Feedback
- Recap of the week’s key takeaways.
- Participant feedback and evaluation of the staff week.
- 11:00 – 12:00: Closing Remarks & Certificate Distribution
- Official closing of the staff week.
- Handing out Certificates of Attendance.
*Costs for coffee breaks, the city guided tour, and the welcome dinner are covered by the University of Banja Luka for all international participants of the Staff Week.
