Summer Schools on sustainable building and cities

Bialystok University of Technology will host two Summer Schools from 30th June to 9th July 2025, offering students a chance to explore sustainable solutions in architecture and urban planning.

The Summer Schools align with the core mission of Across European University by promoting collaboration and academic exchange among partner institutions. They offer a platform for students to work together on pressing sustainability challenges while building lasting connections that transcend national borders. By participating in these programs, students will not only enhance their professional skills but also contribute to the overarching vision of a unified and innovative European education network.

Two summer schools will be offered:

1. VIPSKILLS – Effective Solutions for Sustainable Buildings

2. GLOCAL – Effective Solutions for Sustainable City

These programs provide participants with the opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and discuss innovative approaches to sustainability. Classes will be held on-site at the Bialystok University of Technology from 30th June to 9th July 2025, followed by online sessions from 14th July to 18th July 2025.

Funding Opportunities for Across European University Students

Students from partner universities in Banja Luka, Chemnitz, Craiova, Girona, Nova Gorica, Perpignan, Udine, and Ruse may apply for funding through the “Support for European Universities” Project. Selected participants will receive:

• A scholarship to cover travel expenses to Poland

• A lump sum for living and accommodation costs

• A residency scholarship
