Science meets entrepreneurship in Udine

On 15 September, the Università degli Studi di Udine hosted the event “Sciencepreneurship. From Science to Industry for Across-borders Innovations” as part of the Across Alliance.

The meeting explored opportunities for collaboration between universities and businesses and introduced the objectives of the Across Border Engagement Centres (ABEC). Participants also shared their experiences and filled in a questionnaire to define future priorities.

Start Cup Udine 2025 – Fostering Entrepreneurship in Academia

On October 17, 2025, the University of Udine hosted Start Cup Udine, a dynamic business plan competition held in collaboration with the PNRR iNEST project, the ACROSS project, and supported by Fondazione Friuli. The initiative is part of the Progetto Condiviso activities and falls within the framework of the National Innovation Award (PNI).
