From 20 to 24 September 2026, the University of Craiova will host the international Across workshop “Science Beyond Borders and Disciplines” in Craiova, Romania.
The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join either onsite or online.
Researchers, specialists and students are invited to submit scientific contributions in four main areas:
- Applied Mathematics
- Mathematical and Theoretical Physics
- Numerical Computing, Optimization and Simulation
- Energy and Environmental Sciences, in the context of global economic challenges
Participants will also have access to several publication opportunities. Subject to peer review, selected contributions may be published in different series of the Annals of the University of Craiova, covering mathematics and computer science, physics, economics and geography. A limited number of papers may also be considered for free-of-charge publication in the journal Mathematics.
The workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary scientific exchange and strengthen cooperation between researchers across institutions and fields.
