Bialystok University of Technology invites teachers and students from Across partner universities to take part in the BIP Physical activity “Why sit when you can exercise?”, an intensive on-site programme focused knowledge and skills in early physical prevention of disease and/or health problems.

Where?

The summer school will be held at Bialystok University of Technology, Poland. On-site mobility: from July 6th to 10th 2026

Who?

The summer school is open to international undergraduate, graduate, and post graduate students interested in promoting a healthy lifestyle and exercise before the first symptoms of disease in the musculoskeletal system appear.

Format & Experience

The course aims to provide participants with knowledge and skills in early physical prevention, as well as to promote physical activity as a factor in reducing social and cultural lifestyle patterns that contribute to an increased likelihood of disease and/or health problems.

In addition, participants will be introduced to various forms of physical activity, including an exercise program with rotational elements.

The second topic covered in the course will be an introduction to devices that support rotational exercises, which represent an unquestionable innovation in the field of disease prevention and biomechanical diagnostics through movement analysis.

A study visit to the Knyszyński Forest Landscape Park. In the afternoons, students will participate in cultural activities aimed at familiarizing them with the history and culture of Białystok.

The remote module of the course will begin before the scheduled classes at Bialystok University of Technology. One or two lectures will be held during this module.
