– A competent academic staff, great atmosphere, motivated students and kind hosts – all this makes me consider this educational project of BUT a success – says Assoc. Prof. Miroslav Malinović from the University of Banja Luka. – I believe that our Across alliance will further strengthen these efforts and that there will be even more participants at next year’s summer campus.
– In times of rapidly advancing technologies, we want to provide students with modern teaching methods – emphasises Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology. – The Sustainable Development Goals, including the requirements for reducing the carbon footprint, energy efficiency or access to green areas in public spaces, are topics that need to be constantly developed and promoted. The demands in this area are increasing, but fortunately, awareness is also growing, and the vast majority of us are now choosing a more sustainable lifestyle.
In addition to lectures, the program featured workshops with industry experts, project-based tasks, and study visits.
– The Summer School was not just about lectures but above all about practice and projects – emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dorota Anna Krawczyk, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at BUT and coordinator of Across at BUT. – We wanted students to learn openness, the exchange of good practices, and modern approaches to sustainable development through teamwork in international groups.
