As part of the Across alliance, four spin-offs from the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD) will be present at the University of Girona’s (UdG) stand, which is participating for the fourth consecutive year in the 4YFN fair.
Strengthening Entrepreneurship
The University of Girona (UdG) will have a presence for the fourth consecutive year at the 4 Years From Now (4YFN) International Fair, held alongside the Mobile World Congress 2025 at the Fira Gran Via Hospitalet. With over 100,000 annual attendees, this is the most important international event in the country in the fields of entrepreneurship, connectivity, and technology.
The UdG will have its own space located in hall 8.1, stand 8.1C32, alongside other Catalan universities, at the “University Spin-Off Hub.” Various initiatives will be showcased at the stand, aiming to connect them with other start-ups, investors, and corporations to foster the creation of new business ideas.
This year, up to ten business projects will be hosted at the UdG stand from March 3 to 6. Among these initiatives, there will be UdG spin-offs like Newronia and Myosafe Innovations, spin-off projects from the University such as Greenzyme and Evimatic, and some of the start-ups that have participated in UdG support programs, like Daia and BEE2BE TECH.
An International Stand at 4YFN
As a new feature this year, within the framework of the Across alliance, the UdG has invited companies from other universities in the consortium to participate at its stand. Thus, Across will have two spaces within the UdG stand, where the companies Cohélio, Water ECOsystem, Verréo, and Start Alarm, spin-offs from the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD), also a member of the ACROSS alliance, will be present.
The purpose of the UdG is to ensure that other European universities in the consortium can bring their spin-offs to future editions of the 4YFN fair.
One of the principles of the cross-border alliance is to work as a unit among the universities in the consortium to create a multicultural higher education area without borders.
