Białystok University of Technology will host the 9th German-Polish Conference on Optimization – Methods and Applications (GPCO 2026) on 21–25 September 2026. The conference will bring together researchers and practitioners working in optimization theory, numerical methods and practical applications.
The event will be accompanied by a two-day workshop for PhD students and early-career researchers, scheduled for 19–20 September 2026, providing an opportunity for intensive training and academic exchange in an international environment. Participation is free of charge, and the number of places is limited to 30 participants. The workshops will be conducted by recognized experts in optimization and its modern applications.
The conference aligns well with the objectives of the Across European University Alliance, a network of ten universities across Europe dedicated to fostering cross-border cooperation, academic excellence and innovation. GPCO 2026 offers an excellent platform for strengthening collaboration within the Across project and enhancing research cooperation among partner institutions.
